Looking for a career change or to expand your technical writing experience? You may have what ALMON is looking for. Although we are not actively recruiting at this time, we are always looking for talented individuals to fill our needs in a growing business.

ALMON's technical writers have an array of technical backgrounds and skill sets that make up a very diverse work staff. Even if you have little, if any, writing experience, our excellent training program will take your hands-on experience and turn you into a technical communications expert. We look for individuals who have hands-on working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. If you are currently a heavy-duty, on- or off-road equipment mechanic or field technician, automobile mechanic, or technician in the armed forces, or have experience with PLC controls and AC motor speed controls, you may have what we look for to fill our technical writing positions.

You, as the subject matter expert, would work with our customers to gather the necessary information to produce technical manuals, operator's manuals, installation instructions, and training materials. Typically, you would have access to their products, as well, for any research, teardown, or testing required for developing the documentation.
